There are No baby squirrels... I PROMISE!

While cutting down our tree in our front yard. Kelson and our friend Jair found a surprising discovery. They heard a squeaking noise and found that four baby squirrels had survived at least a twenty-five foot fall along with the section of the tree they cut.

Kelson and I love animals so I looked up on the Internet what to do and what to feed them. Interestingly, they drink puppy replacement formula. So, we started our rescue mission. Tayah thought the were great and spent most of the day wanting to see the "quirrels".

We were able to get in touch with a lady who explained to us how to reunite the babies with their mother. Dad (Whittle) went out to the car the next morning and spotted the mom in a different tree just staring at the house. He called me to go get the baby squirrels.

We all came inside and waited. Finally the mom came down the tree and examined the babies (we are assuming to make sure they were all fine). She then proceeded to take them one by one to a large tree in our neighbors yard.

Finally they were all rescued and that mother squirrel owes me ten bucks for keeping her babies alive! It was a really cool thing to watch.
